Investment Analyst

Jatoba Capital is seeking an Investment Analyst to support the investment team in the oversight and analysis of portfolios held on behalf of the families we serve.

The role will involve investment research, portfolio monitoring, preparation of reports and materials for internal review, and coordination with custodians, investment managers, administrators, and other professional advisers. The successful candidate will be expected to work accurately, manage competing priorities, and present analysis clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research across public and private markets, investment managers, sectors, and individual opportunities
  • Prepare financial analysis, valuation work, due-diligence materials, and investment memoranda
  • Support the monitoring of portfolio performance, asset allocation, liquidity, risk, capital commitments, and distributions
  • Prepare regular reporting and presentation materials for investment and family governance meetings
  • Maintain investment records, data quality, and supporting documentation
  • Assist with the implementation and documentation of investment decisions
  • Liaise with external managers, custodians, administrators, banks, and professional advisers
  • Support the ongoing development of investment reporting and internal processes

Requirements

  • Experience in investment analysis, asset management, private markets, investment banking, private equity, or a comparable environment
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and research skills
  • Sound understanding of portfolio construction, valuation, and investment risk
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with portfolio reporting or data-analysis tools would be useful
  • Clear and concise written communication
  • High standards of organisation and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team
  • Professional qualification, or progress towards CFA, CAIA, ACA, or an equivalent qualification, is desirable

Administrative Assistant

  • Reporting to: Office Manager / Senior Management

Jatoba Capital is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide reliable day-to-day support across the office and, where required, the wider family mandate.

This is a varied role requiring a highly organised and discreet individual who can manage routine administrative work to a consistently high standard. The successful candidate will support office operations, meeting and travel arrangements, correspondence, records, suppliers, and a range of ad hoc requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to colleagues across Jatoba Capital
  • Manage diaries, meetings, visitor arrangements, room bookings, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, ground transport, and related itineraries
  • Handle incoming correspondence, couriers, invoices, expenses, and records accurately
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems, including confidential documents
  • Support the organisation of internal meetings and occasional events
  • Liaise with suppliers, service providers, contractors, and external professional advisers
  • Assist with facilities coordination and the smooth running of daily operations
  • Provide administrative support for household, property, or personal matters when required
  • Undertake other administrative projects as needs arise

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative, executive support, private office, professional services, or comparable role
  • Strong organisational and diary management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office and standard administrative systems
  • Careful attention to detail and a methodical approach to record-keeping
  • Ability to manage several priorities while remaining composed and responsive
  • A professional and discreet manner when dealing with confidential information
  • Experience supporting senior individuals, families, or private clients would be beneficial
